Dear YouTube,

I've seen your new UI and I have some comments. Firstly, no. Secondly, no. Thirdly, fuck off.

Now that we've covered all the problems of the new shit-ass-fucked-up™ UI, I propose something better, simpler, and importantly totally less shit-ass-fucked-up™.

A good UI exclusively needs:

Play Button
Progress Bar (logarithmic scale to make the viewer think the video almost done)
Next Video (picking a video is too much)

This will replace https://youtube.com, all pages, and all subdomains. There will be no feeds, just current and next video.
