I thought of WP-Optimize as a simple and user-friendly plugin, but now after activating the plugin they have a sort of horrible guided setup.
After basic settings it continues with Give us your email, Install all our plugins and Upgrade to Premium.
So I am looking for alternative plugins to
1. optimize database
2. compress images
3. implement a cache
4. minimize the code
Any recommendations?

WordPress sites rarely get hacked from one big failure. It’s usually a chain of small issues: missed patches, weak permissions, exposed admin paths, and poorly hardened hosting.
