Add the numbers up, HTTP polling is going to cost everyone more money, resources used, energy needed, storage needed (logs etc), etc — this feature is highly problematic on any host that doesn’t invest in a custom polling solution ASAP.
This was rushed and unfortunately not well thought out in terms of impact to the web on an IRL environmental and shared server level.

Ich lese immer mal wieder über Pure Blog als die angenehme Variante, wenn jemand bloggen will. Schlicht und einfach schreiben, sonst nichts. Ich hatte ja vor einiger Zeit mal die Einfachsoigkeit am Wickel. Und irgendwie verbinde ich mit dieser nicht wirklich schlauen Vokabel genau das, das schlichte und einfache Schreiben in dieses Internet. Wenn wir WordPress-Blog-Vollschreiber ehrlich sind, dann ist halt unsere Blogsoftware weit darüber hinaus gewachsen. Passt es noch, oder ist WordPress vielleicht doch zu fett?
