Gerade Alternative zu WordPress in der Timeline aufgetaucht. Schaut gut aus. Aber #Wordpress kann ich vollständig nutzen, in dem ich einen Webspace habe und Dateien per FTP hochladen sowie eine mySQL Datenbank nutzen kann. Alles Grundfunktionen, die leicht erlernbar sind und die man bei hunderten Hostern für recht wenig Euro erhält.

Bitte unbedingt beide Plugins auf den aktuellen Stand bringen: sowohl die "Erweiterungen für Leaflet Map" als auch das "DSGVO Snippet für Leaflet Map und seine Erweiterungen".
Spannend finde ich immer wieder, wie einem am eigenen Plugin gezeigt wird, wie XSS funktioniert.

I need to find somebody in Canada who sets up Wordpress websites at a reasonable price, hosted on a Canadian server. I want a person who can arrange for webhosting and a security certificate, install Wordpress, add a few plugins and themes, set up a contact form, and provide some help for a new user.
This is because I don't want to be this person. When friends ask for help getting started, I want to provide a name and URL. I'd like to say hey, go over there and think about hiring this person, I will be at the beach and I do not help with websites anymore.
If you do this kind of WordPress thing, please let me know.

Nach langem überlegen, ahbe ich mich dazu entschlossen auch für mevil.de Pure Blog zu nutzen.
Ich habe auch schon ein paar Sachen umsetzen können und werde dann auch gleich den Schritt wagen, bevor ich es mir wieder anders überlege.
WordPress ist mir einfach zu kompleex und überladen geworden, außerdem gehen mir die Blocks auf den Keks.
Ich habe mich in das Schlichte und doch mit Liebe gefüllte Flat File CMS von Kev Quirk verliebt und nutze es mit Freude auf maintz.org.
Na dann, auf ans Werk und die Arme hochgekrempelt.

Anyone know of some Wordpress plugins for auto-populating tumblr/other SM posts?
Would anyone happen to be familiar with basic #webDev especially #wordpress since I'm at least a tiny bit familiar with it? I want to get a basic link aggregate (that isn't choked with trackers and subject to algorithmic censorship whims like allmylinks) set up for my webnovel "Fractured Heart: the Tale of the Pop Star and the Pauper", and just a simple static list of links would suffice, but I'd love to find some widgets or something that could auto-populate with recent bsky and/or instagram and/or tumblr posts, if such a thing exists and is accessible to people who can't really wrap their heads around sophisticated web coding.
I don't have the money to hire a professional web dev to set it all up (I have the 4 chapters/$5/mo patreon at https://www.patreon.com/fracturedheart but so far I make less than $10 a month at it 😅 ) plus I've had negative experiences in the past with unrelated projects where I hired a web dev to set up a website who then ghosted me, leaving me high and dry when it came to changing anything, so I'd like to make it simple enough to set up myself if at all possible. bon #dotclear c'est cool mais on dirait que y'a vraiment pas beaucoup d'effort qui a été mis sur l'utilisabilité.
Les thèmes semblent pas testés, y'en a très peu, l'interface d'admin est un clicodrôme pour modifier la navigation, si tu veux modifier un article alors que tu es connecté en admin tu n'as pas de lien direct, pas moyen de faire de la navigation en sous menu. Pffff. Tu m'étonnes que les gens aillent se jeter dans #wordpress
