Forked Norcross' Comment Blacklist Manager plugin into We Spam Econo and the performance gains are fucking bonkers.
WSE stores over 64k spam terms in a custom table (instead of an array in `wp_options`) and now it's 83x faster!
Takes about 1.3ms (on average) to check a comment in WSE versus 108ms using #WordPress core functionality.

Today I learnt how to deactivate all AI features from Jetpack on Wordpress, so I've decided to share it in case someone's interested.
Simply add this line of code to the file functions.php of your site's theme or child theme:
add_filter( 'jetpack_ai_enabled', '__return_false' );
It works like a charm!
