I hate hate hate the the #liquidglass design. Even with reduced transparency and reduced motion. Some elements still are liqued glassy. Like the menu bar in #whatsapp. The old design was perfectly functional. Why did they have to fuzz with it? Why is there no option to just stick with the old one? There's np reason not at least give users the option. Also, you are a poor excuse for ui designer if people need turn on accessabilty options to correct you screw ups. What a clowns breakfast. 🤮🤡

Kürzlich hab ich eine Exilrussin kennengelernt, die zunehmend Probleme hat, mit ihrer Familie in der Heimat (sicher) zu telefonieren. Mit VPN als Bypass für die russischen Netzsperren bei #Whatsapp haben sie schon etwas Erfahrungen, aber es scheint eine Frage der Zeit, bis solche Schlupflöcher geschlossen werden und die ohnehin überbordende repressive #Überwachung ausgeweitet wird.

I see a slow but steady move away from Whatsapp to Signal. I personally ditched it 5 months ago (after not using it since a year) and now many people are reachable through Signal as well as my local sports club is moved it's chats to Signal. #Signal #Whatsapp
