I'm hosting some application for friends and sometimes I need to inform them regarding issues or planned downtime. Way back in the day, when I was still using Whatsapp, I used the "distribution list" option. In that way, I was able to inform them all via one message and they got that message in their personal chat with me. In this way they do not see for who else I host stuff (in comparison to communicating via a Whatsapp group, where everybody can see the group member. These people do not know each other and it is none of their business to know who else I'm hosting for.
Since basically everybody of the group has Signal installed, I would like to inform them via Signal (instead of sending mails with everybody in BCC). It does not seem that Signal has the distribution list option or the ability to hide members for each other in a group.
Am I missing something? Is there a trick for such a communication channel?
