So what if the plaintiff and Meta are both right about the #WhatsApp spyware situation, sort of?
There's no plaintext access to messages or leaking of keys, so Meta is technically telling the truth about that.
But the whistleblower says they saw an internal application with message content.
A possible explanation is that WhatsApp deliberately introduced something like the old Debian OpenSSL vulnerability. 1/2
