After I had jumped back on #WhatsApp about two years ago I #deleted it today again.
I built a short message with a why and link to me on #signal that I sent to everyone and even got a handful of people greeting me in signal. No idea if they are new there or had been there before.
My conclusion: do it, remove the #brotech and inspire friends and family, convince them or at least make them think.
If YOU don't do it #brotech wins.

My wife shared a PDF file via #Whatsapp with me. As it seems, it's not transported via the app, but uploaded to a WhatsApp server, as my browser opened up to download it from there.
So #E2E is already broken for file sharing?!

When you WhatsApp someone to ask for their email address because you want to send them something that you feel is too long for a WhatsApp message, and they give it to you and you send the email, and then they respond to your email over WhatsApp instead.... #WhatsApp #email

When I deleted my #WhatsApp account to be available only via iMessage, Messenger, #Signal, Telegram, Instagram etc. I exchanged even less messages with my friends than before when I was using WhatsApp. Not sure what that's supposed to tell me. #diday
