When it comes to lowering the war premiums, that requires stability for a long period of time which the U.S administration is anything but or domestic insurances as in avoiding the insurance mafia better known as Lloyd's of London which coined the term "shadow fleet", "dark fleet", "ghost fleet" for vessels not insured with them, which the #USA and #EU has adopted and used to seize vessel, board them and whatnot, which is technically declaration of war with a nation when that happens.

As anyone can see war premiums fundamentally altering voyage economics & profitability for vessels owners, operators & cargo importers & ultimately the final price to the end consumer.
To keep the war premiums high, all #Iran or the axes of the resistance has to do in the region, is to keep firing drones,missiles, projectile, at an vessel in either Straits. it's enough to fire at it, they dont have to hit the vessel and there is nothing #USA or any sort of alliance or coalition can do about it.

In der 80ern waren die USA (für mich) irgendwie "cool" und die Soldaten die in Deutschland (und meiner Nachbarschaft) stationiert waren, habe ich eher als Freunde angesehen.
Nach Ende des kalten Krieges habe ich US Truppen eher als notwendiges Übel gesehen.
Mittlerweile halte ich sie für Besatzer eines feindlichen Regimes.
Deswegen empfinde ich die "Drohung" des verurteilten Straftäters im Weißen Haus, die Besatzungstruppen abzuziehen, als gute Nachricht.

That said vessels insurance is the invisible hand that controls traffic through the Strait
Pre war risk premiums typically account for 0.1% to 0.15% of vessel's value per voyage, meaning an Supertanker worth $200 million would typically have an insurance cost of up to $300.000, now has to pay as high as 7.5% or $15 million.
In addition to the vessel insurance you also have cargo insurance which has risen from about 0.03% to nearly 1%
All of this added cost consumers in the end pay. #USA #Iran
