Anyone else noticing a lot of lag and bugs on the latest #linux build of #unity3d 2022 LTS? I just updated because of the vulnerability fix and even the transform gizmo doesn't seem to be working properly, all the menus are super laggy and so on.

Experiment 417: "Noise Tunnel Test 1"
Took the long instanced mesh particle ribbon and spawned on unit circle for tunnel. 3D noise to inward displacement and tilt code gave an interesting look so I played around with noise tiling/scrolling constants.

Experiment 416: "Layered Ribbon Landscape Perf Test"
Perf test in build - comparing shadows from 2x pointlights (expensive) vs 2x spotlights. #vfxgraph again being super-efficient as now there's 6x systems each with 150,000 meshes (900,000 total) on a laptop 3070 and running at over 110fps :-)

Experiment 415: "Twisty Ribbon Landscape Using VfxGraph"
As current lookdev not using raytracing, I ported the instanced ribbon to #vfxgraph and it ran faster! The vfxgraph team have done a great job as this is 2x systems with 150,000 meshes each on laptop 3070 (in editor). Also way more efficient iterating because it recompiles live and can easily add tweakable params.
