I don't know how accurate this is. But here's a website that claims that 48% of the users on #Threads live in #Armenia. And that this is the site's biggest single nationality.
I think this means that the site is not successful anywhere else.

No início de 2023, a Meta anunciou que sua nova plataforma de microblogging, #Threads, se juntaria ao #Fediverso, uma rede de plataformas de mídia social gratuitas e de código aberto. Essa decisão criou uma divisão dentro do Fediverse, com alguns usuários apoiando a integração da #Meta, enquanto outros se opunham fortemente a ela. Esta pesquisa explora as práticas e os discursos do último grupo — usuários, desenvolvedores e administradores de servidores — que visam construir um “Fediverso livre” mais seguro e autônomo. Ao enquadrar o Fediverso livre como um contrapúblico digital, este artigo introduz o conceito de “fechamento estratégico” para ilustrar como esses atores resistem à captura corporativa e mantêm um ambiente online mais seguro. Com base nos marcos teóricos da sociomaterialidade e da política da abertura, minha análise destaca o entrelaçamento entre os aspectos discursivos e materiais dessas práticas contrapúblicas. Este estudo contribui para o discurso mais amplo sobre políticas alternativas de mídia social, enfatizando as negociações em andamento entre abertura, segurança e design tecnológico, e oferece insights dos Estudos de Ciência e Tecnologia (STS) para a compreensão dos contrapúblicos na era da Big Tech.

Search which compagnies advertise on x etc. Send letters or mails to those compagnies telling them they are on a platform that supports #fascism #deepfakes of women and children. ASK them why they support #childporn. Tell them you Will #boycot their products. Tell your family and friends to do the same.
