Rusia está restringiendo el uso de #Telegram, con la intención de que los rusos utilicen una aplicación creada por el estado, obviamente, con la intención de controlar y censurar. Sean "democráticos" o no, cada estado emplea distintas formas, pero todos van en una dirección, controlar y censurar. El Reino Unido directamente a sus ciudadanos, Francia persiguiendo al propio Pavel Durov, y la UE con leyes que la propaganda dice que son para una cosa, pero sin esconder que están diseñadas para lo mismo.
Quienes gobiernan en la sombra o a pleno sol, están acostumbrados a controlar a los ciudadanos, lo que dicen, cómo piensan y se organizan, y aplicaciones como Telegram lo dificultan.
No olvidemos que Rusia está en guerra y Telegram se ha convertido en un sistema de información a tiempo real. No es extraño que quiera eliminarlo.

Legitimate Western corporations do not solicit funds or engagement on Telegram for deposit into third party crypto platforms.
I get that the lure of easy money is hard to resist and that crypto is still like the gold rush of 1850s California. But most if not all people get hurt, lose all their money to the scam; and there is nothing that us infosec people can do to get the money back.
