I'm building a custom #SwiftUI navigation flow for an app onboarding but I'm having layout issues when moving from steps with/without safeAreaInset content to steps without/with safeAreaInset content. See blue frame.
Any idea how to fix this?

Ok this is now officially testable! Anyone want a TestFlight link to my new skeuomorphic #graphicdesign throwback tool, Random Forms? This video shows the whole featureset at the moment, (but the fancy gold shimmery shape will be there just to have a single in-app purchase).

I’ve opened up TestFlight access for my app, Jelito, and I’m looking for a few extra hands to try it out. I originally built it for my wife when she was dealing with stomach issues. Then after my own medical treatment, I also wanted a clearer way to log my symptoms and see how things changed over time. So I built something that actually helped us both. It lets you log food, drink, activities and symptoms. It’s all offline, data stays on your device, and you can export a clean PDF if you need to share it with a doctor. Having some fun with Apple's Foundation Models to create facts about famous landmarks around the world for my Capitalia app!
For a tiny local 3B parameters LLM it's actually working quite well.
The only issue at the moment, is that he doesn't always pick up the command "You MUST translate the facts to XXX (where XXX is the language of the user)".
Sometimes he does it ... sometimes he just ignores it 😅

#SwiftUI has been released more than 6 years ago but you still have to use UIDatePicker.appearance() to set a minuteInterval other than the default 1 minute to a date picker 🤦🏻♂️
Maybe mesh gradients are more used 🤷🏻♂️

With the exception of the rotation gesture near the end , this is all one touch interaction. The dots show the beginning and end, so you can see how the wiggle responds to the movement. It’s so rubbery and fun! #RandomForms #swiftui #BuildInPublic

Are there any good CloudKit packages that help with syncing a Core Data database?
I'm really fed up with both NSPersistentCloudKitContainer and CKSyncEngine. It's just too complex for a single developer. It's really hindering my ability to create new features if I always have this in the back of my head. I wonder if building a custom solution on my own server is better at this point to not have to talk to a black hole, that is iCloud.
