If anyone ends up with the same problem, I solved this by generating a new key:
ssh-keygen -t ed25519 -b 256 -f ~/.ssh/id_ed25519.myclient -C 'paul@myclient'
and then updating my Git repository with:
git config core.sshCommand "ssh -i ~/.ssh/id_ed25519.myclient -F /dev/null"
I can't set something in .ssh/config to use a specific key for a hostname, because I have multiple keys for that hostname and need to select on a per-repo basis.
