sites like bluesky and twitter are inherently unhealthy and encourage the most abrasive takes possible because we have no communities and no accountability. like, if someone is a rapist but they're not violating the rules, what can you do? you can post about them, but that only gives them more attention, which benefits them! it creates a cycle of increasing frustration where you see hostility and even evil all around you and can do nothing about it.
