@peoplebluesky

It's so weird that someone at Bluesky seems to look at X and think: "Which are the most controversial features we could copy?" For the sake of humanity, we don't need another people undressing, mecha Hitler.

As someone who uses uMatrix but also had to occasionally use xTwit, their t-dot-co tracking URL/redirects are always blocked.

Thankfully for any #Firefox compatible browser, I found this addon that changes the URLs on xTwit directly, no redirect.

You know, almost like when people share links, they may do it to be helpful, not just to see if you'll click.

You are falling behind because you haven’t fed the insincerity machine in the last 5 minutes | Christian Heilmann

"As an actor or author you don’t send your body or stunt double to attend interviews or sell autographs at comic con. Don’t create a virtual double that posts for you on social media when you can’t be arsed or feel overwhelmed. Take that overwhelming feeling and write about it, showing the world that your mental health is as fragile as the one of the people who follow you and read your work. Be human and only there when you can be there."

Bluesky announces AI app, Attie, for custom feeds

image via mashable.com

Bluesky has created another app, Attie, that uses AI to build custom feeds. Attie already has a Bluesky account, naturally, where it posted on Saturday that it's currently in an invite-only closed beta. "You can use it to build your own feeds, create software that works the way you want it to, and find signal in the noise."
