I used to have Substack publications until I learned they willingly hosted Nazis. Substack was important to me. It was where I discovered interesting people and great writing. It was my only social media.
Substack doesn't offer any option to keep your subscriptions when you leave. It informs you that deleting your account will delete your subscriptions. Like they are hostages. I pried the URLs from the page code to read the authors I love via RSS.

Un débat qui mérite de ne pas être sacrifié. La question de la mise en œuvre est essentielle. On ne doit pas sacrifier toutes les libertés individuelles avec l’adoption précipitée d’un texte flou et qui permettra tous les excès de pouvoir (surveillance généralisée) et fera peser un risque très important sur tous les citoyens (piratage).
