As I said, Kimmel may not be high brow entertainment but I highly doubt it would make anyone suicidal. Aside from that, all I watch are cartomancy videos, movie videos, about books and reading, and maybe a game or two and a TV rerun.

After a long conversation here yesterday between myself and others who were not concerned about the dangers of #SocialMedia centralization -vs- pure #Federation (most of which I surfaced on my feed) I'm left wondering three things:
1. Am I an outlier – or am I merely a crank on this subject?
2. How do I properly, and concisely, explicate what I see as dangerous potential honeypots attractive to both victims and oppressors?
3. Am I wrong? Can global feeds be safe?

For too long, Section 230 has been used inappropriately as a big tech shield, enriching themselves to the detriment of society.
▪️ Platforms should have 230 protection for chronological feeds.
▪️ But, when platforms use algorithm-boosting practices they should forgo 230 protections on those occasions.
