Why are you on social media? I'm such a fossiI that I started with an online diary and IRC. Alongside websites, I got interested in emerging social media services, first from a technical angle, then as a social experiment. I'm not great at socializing in real life, so social media was a safe and easy way to connect with strangers.
These days, social media is even easier to use, but after 23 years, it's not as enjoyable anymore. Still, without social media, even the last bit of my social life would disappear.
