Blogging in 2025 (of any length, even social media micro-blogging) is like knowingly setting out to write pieces that you are very very passionate about, and might have put a lot of thought into, and might even contain some valuable little bit of insight signal in them.
And then... if you're lucky... maybe up to 1% of 1% of 1% of 1% of 1% of 1% of 1% of 1% of 1% of the world's population will ever see it, and read it. And an even smaller tiny percentage of those might give you a Like or a Boost or a Reply. Again... if you're lucky.
Therefore there are two take-aways. That either:
1. you must be a foolish masochist to do it... and/or:
2. go head and indulge! Let your freak flag fly, don't hold back, say exactly what you think, because ultimately you might be your only fan anyway: be sure to please the one *guaranteed* member of your blog's audience: you.
That's my best theory so far. :-)
