@JessTheUnstill I mean, my main gripe is that their justification is intellectually insulting and disingenious at best.

Espechally when $INSTANCE in question is run by and financed with income by folks who work in said sector.

Like I get why people seperate work and personal life, (I do so myself!) but believing that defederating this instance prevents the #NSA from accessing their comms there when said instance is publicly accessible on the surface net is actually insulting to everyone who isn't a hardcore believer in "#SecurityThroughObscurity"…

If one's seriously consideribg the NSA hostile to them, they gotta reevaluate their #SocialMedia presence entirely...

I recently picked up some physical #books at a used #bookstore. I'm trying to get back to recreational #reading again instead of scrolling #socialmedia or watching random #youtube videos. Did you know printed books have almost no ads, commercials, sponsored content, popups, prompts to subscribe to newsletters or to accept cookies? I can just sit and read a story. It's... kinda nice.
