EU politicians should first and foremost start using European social media platforms. Fediverse presents great opportunity as regardless of chosen platform/instance, it is possible to communicate with people from across the whole federated network.
Withdrawing ad budgets from platforms that actively interfere in domestic affairs of the EU should be another step. There is no reason for paying money to company owned by Musk who wants nothing else that the destruction of the EU and submitting Europe to his own interests. Fueling his empire with money is fueling his attempts to interfere in European affairs.
Musk transformed X into information warfare and now actively wages information war against Europe and other regions in the world. This should be enough reason to leave X and start boycotting this company.
