Попалась мне NanoPi Neo3 на 1GB RAM, НО по очень приятной цене, не смог устоять и приобрёл. Больше железа богу железа, как говорится. Да и в конце концов, будет на чём продолжать изучение и эксперементы с #Lunux соблюдая разнообразие.
Ну, не могу я себя держать в руках при виде миниатюрных компьютеров и инструментов. Слабости и умиление побеждают прагматика во мне.

Unbelievable: the rpiboot included in ubuntu 24.04 is broken to the point it can't boot a brand new pi CM5 module.

Why doesn't this get a bold warning on the rpi documentation online!? Why do I have to find this on a personal blog?!
On the flip side: I'm so happy for the old web. And that my CM5 boots!
I had to rebuild it from scratch, which took all of one second. Why bother even distributing it with ubuntu if it isn't kept up to date? Wild.

@phaysis That's not been my experience. Use high quality SD Cards. Ditch CRON in favor of systemd-driven cron and disable hourly cron unless you really need it. I've had no problems with Sandisk Extreme Pro SD cards on Pi4 and Pi5. I reburn a lot (for testing https://github.com/gitbls/sdm) and have not had an SD card or SSD croak yet.

What they don't tell you about #RaspberryPi systems is they will flat out kill an SD card if put into long term production. Just destroy it. Locked into read only mode. Tits up.
