Built a simple but smart network gateway: plug in, no apps, no config.
All devices go through it and it quietly filters unwanted traffic.
First test: clean phone (no extensions), connected through it: 77% blocked on adblocktester.pages.dev 👍🏻

Dismantled my dynamount unit today since the controller wouldn't boot. In theory i'm pretty sure i can make the sucker be controlled by a raspberry pi. (Shipping to the U.S. for them to fix is not a really cool option.)
But since i'm new to the diy and maker thingy any thought is appreciated.
My questions so far:
- Anyone recons the motor and ideally can give info on voltage and control addressing?
- wiring idea to make raspi do things
- do i need a seperate control boars for the motors (which one for three motors?) or is the raspi enough?

If there’s a flaw in the Pi as a camera though, it lies in the software, which can be slow and frustrating to use.
