I started learning #Python three years ago and, surprisingly, loved it.
As this year closes, I've switched over to Debian 13 for my main laptop and have a Proxmox homelab running 24/7, with a plethora of useful services.
In retrospect, tech used to feel patronizing and intrusive. I love how #FLOSS has made my digital world decluttered, deliberate.

Long time ago I set up some Raspberry Pis with a DHT22 sensors to measure temperature and humidity. At that time I was using OMD, Nagios and PNP4Nagios to plot those values.
Medium long time ago I switched to Grafana and InfluxDB but some Pis are still there. Now I am replacing them with an ESP32-C3 and BME280 senor.
Sending the measurements to a MQTT broker, then to InfluxDB and displaying in Grafana. Awesome!
