@mclare Actually scratch that: it looks like strptime() (again, assuming that's what you're using) is implemented in a separate #Python module: https://github.com/python/cpython/blob/3.14/Lib%2F_strptime.py
There's some year resolution logic in lines 588-600, dunno if that would explain what you're seeing

Ok weird datetime shiz in #python (what else is new?) I have some dates that have different formats, but what they have in common is that they are only two digit years. I can’t figure out how datetime is deciding whether 27 is 1927 vs 2027, and it seems like some are getting shifted to 2027 and others are 1927 😬
Unfortunately both dates could be possible so I have to rely on other information to figure out which is which, I just wish it was consistent about how it’s flipping it
