I'm refactoring a relatively large #python code base that is written by an OOP junky, I think. Classes are everywhere. They defined a class even for the simplest tasks. I'm like 80% through and reduced the whole code base to a single file with about 400 lines of code. Just plain functions and simple map/reduce.
I know they tried to write the perfect code. But honestly, nothing bits simplicity.
