Unpopular feedback about #Pixelfed. I really want to love PF, but...
1. I need simple drag n drop multi upload panel. Having to navigate to images before I actually create a post is REALLY offputting
2. Why cant I create a new post FIRST - before I publish, like all other socmed?
3. Why are img thmbs so small when creating the post?
4. Why cant I multi-upload images?
3. Why are stories and collections prioritised over simple UX improvements?
Please dont shout at me.
It's been a while since I worked on the Pixelfed mobile app, and I'm having fun shipping fixes and closing issues before I work on some more exciting updates.
Will share more deets when the next release is shipped 😉
What I particularly like about @pixelfed is that—besides sharing your photography—you can also present a sleek portfolio of your artworks that even comes with an RSS feed.

@dansup - let me know if a discussion in github is better.
i have a question about the general working with the branches. At the moment the last #pixelfed release is 5mo old.
You already merged some stuff into the DEV branch, but it's not released.
From my current and last working experience I can really recommend a deploy fast/fail fast CI/CD.
We always push new featurea to the main branch and they are deployed automatically.
Everything is (normally/hopefully) covered by tests.

Additionally, I only see a button to import Instagram stuff. Is there a possibility to import blocks and following from an old #pixelfed account - exports are in json format - into a new pixelfed account?
If one migrates from one #pixelfed instance to another one, what is needed to move followers? I set an alias to my old account from my new account. And I set migration from my old to my new account.
I see my followers are gone from my old account, but do not show up in the new account. Is this automated, or is there an action needed from the admins on either side?
Any pointers to a reasonable summary on the hooha I'm hearing about #pixelfed? Is it Bad™? I'll definitely keep my account to lock my common username, but should I stop posting photos to it and delete the ones that are there? Or is it all just blown out of proportion?
