That is exactly, what I want from #Pixelfed. I am there for beautiful, interesiting, inspiring photos. If you don't post any, I don't wnat to see it. If you post too many images that aren't beautiful, interesiting, inspiring I will unfollow you and even mute you when your posts appear in my hashtag-feeds.
I use my Pixelfed accounts very different from my Mastodon account. On Mastodon I will follow you for great, insightful texts like your blog post.
But I think it's ok if @dansup makes that optional.
