Kinda bummed. My family #pixelfed died when i tried to do an update in #yunohost.
Backups are also not working. Just gives a generic error about something missing. I made a couple of github issues.

I've been playing around with #pixelix for a day and it's a game changer compared to the official #pixelfed app.
The UI looks good, scrolling through posts is very smooth, comment trees actually make sense, collections appear on people's profiles, there's a handy button for reading the alt-text, you can install it from f-droid without adding external repositories.
I don't normally do posts like this here, as I like this being photo only, but seriously have a look if you also get frustrated by using the official app.
