The historic water tower in Bremerhaven-Lehe on Hafenstraße rises prominently above the trees and the square in front of it. Built in 1852/53 to a design by architect Simon Loschen, it dates back to the early days of Bremerhaven’s water supply and is also known as the Schwoonscher Wasserturm. Today, it remains a protected landmark and a striking reminder of the city’s urban and industrial history. //
