Personally, I focus on non-human animals.

De wereld is een onveilige plek voor mensen en voor andere dieren. Een aantal van ons probeert het leed van bepaalde groepen te verzachten. Ik focus me daarbij op niet-menselijke dieren.
Op #Mastodon en #Pixelfed kom ik veel verschillende mensen tegen 💜
Helaas niet allemaal #Vegan.
Mag je zelf weten hoor. Maar over hoe ik het beleef als iemand online foto's deelt van dierlijke lichaamsdelen die die gaat opeten, heb ik 'n stukje geschreven.

My silly question: I am trying out the #pixelfed app, which requires an account and it seems that I cannot use mine at the instance of woof.group.
After creating an account, I realized that some of my posts are federalized, but when I try to click on them, they can’t be loaded.
The amount of content that’s displayed is much smaller than what the hashtag number suggested.
Anyone knows why? Is there some kind of censorship at play?

Was die Fediverse-Konten angeht, sei zu sagen;
Probier dich durch. Es gibt so viele Services, dass es "den richtigen* eh nicht gibt.
Als Einstig passts, mastodon und Pixrlfed.
Ich verwende #Friendica, #Pixelfed #Peertube #Mobilizon
Frage dich, ob du Inhalte bloß konsumieren, oder auch Content produzieren willst.
Wenn du nicht vorhast, Videos zu publizieren, brauchst du kein Peertube. Du kannst den Accounts auch von Mastodon oder Friendica folgen, liken, Kommentieren.
Wrnn du ab und zu mal ein paar Bilder publizierst, reicht Mastodon, friendica o.ä. vollkommen aus. Du kannst alle Pixelfed-Accounts von hier aus folgen, kommentieren, liken.
Am besten, du bleibst mal eine Zeit da wo du Accounts hast, und lernst dich zurecht zu finden. Und dsnn schau mal mit einem Testaccount, ob dir andere Dienste besser zusagen, gefallen, besser für dich funktionieren.
