better late than never. coming from #SchleswigHolstein
its refreshing to be on a platform without commercial interests lurking in the background.
I started on #pixelfed but it turned out #mastodon suits me better. does this place have private messages, or did I just miss them?
I’m into photography and nature, and I’m a big animal lover. Mostly introverted, I’m here to use this space for honest exchanges about all sorts of things & ill post whatever comes to mind. :)

@dansup for new users, if they don't understand the federation problem, it will feel like punk.photos is broken and not working.
That's why I got this complaint from the user right after registration.
I really hope there is a script or a way to get the data from your Pixelfed.social to our instance.
And i know they can search for the original post but that's not a good UX.

@dansup - i have a Pixelfed federation question (before opening a bug report).
I have a new user on punk.photos.
She wants to follow her friend on pixelfed.social.
On punk.photos she sees 0 pictures but on Pixelfed.social are 158 posts. (And of course the number of followers is wrong, which is a known problem)
Is there any way an account can be "re-federated" / reloaded? Is there a worker which does the magic?

Ahhhh, the #Pixelfed iOS app appears to still have issues.
I've deleted the app and reinstalled it, but the "Continue" button on the Log in screen still does nothing.
Maybe this bug from two months still has yet to be addressed.
Web access works fine.
