I was recently pointed to the TIOBE index. I've, of course, been aware of it for years (decades?) but the results are way different from what my educated guesses would be:
- VB at 7
- #Pascal at 10
- #Ada at 13
- #PHP at 15
- #Rustlang at 18
#Zig doesn't rank in the top 50.
Does this seem super weird to anyone else? Am I just biased or does this not reflect anything from this decade? It feels like it overly weights legacy languages and ignores project starts.

Ja sehr rau aber auch sehr ehrlich. Zu viele machen Webseiten zu umständlich auf Frameworks die sie nur um ca. ~30% wirklich nutzen und abgesehen davon ist PHP so wie JavaScript sehr langsam. Für die meiste Firmen reicht mMn eine statische Webseite vollkommen aus die aber regelmässig inhaltlich aktualisiert wird.
