Can somebody help with this weird #Wordpress issue? Wordpress keeps adding tags such as "1" or "2" in tags, even when repeatedly removed from the post and updated. Nothing works - full update, quick update in the list etc. Is it related to some plugin or is WP acting on its own? I see correct POST request, however it comes back with 1, 2 added automatically. Another thing that makes me really change my blog engine. Wordpress is just getting bloated by the day. #wp #webdev #php #tags

How... utterly #bizarre
I thought #php was behaving same across all devices as the #server does the work

On #mobile it just... fails. the login was confirmed as ok. Auth token ok.
An then it just ... fails ?!

PHP Unit Tests waren für mich lange ein unterschätztes Tool. Direkt zu Anfang 2026 lerne ich sie gerade richtig kennen und weiß die Möglichkeiten, die man damit hat, inzwischen sehr zu schätzen. Bei einem meiner #WordPress Plugins habe ich inzwischen über 1000 Tests integriert - meist nur simple Abfragen, aber auch mit einem Dutzend Real World Tests. Ich denke das Jahr wird noch viele weitere Tests mit sich bringen. #phpunittest #php

Hace unos años empecé a crear TinySQLite, una librería #PHP sencilla y ligera para trabajar con bases de datos #sqlite
Ayer empecé a trabajar de nuevo en ella, mejorando el código, optimizando, documentarlo mejor, etc.
Está bajo licencia GNU/GPL 3, así que sois libres de usarla en vuestros proyectos.

Over the last while, I’ve been building an open-source PHP ecosystem focused on small, composable libraries rather than a single monolith.
The result so far:
• 11 repositories
• ~40k lines of code total
• All MIT licensed
• Most libraries under 1k LOC
Keeping modules small has forced better boundaries, clearer APIs, and easier maintenance.
It’s been a good reminder that more code isn’t better — clearer code is. #php #webdev #programming #paas empathy.sh
