PHP was ahead. But at a staggering 1350 votes cast so far, python is pulling ahead again.

And still 10 hours until the poll closes.

Above all, this is testament to the engagement of both the PHP and Python communities.

Perhaps #php is not so dead after all

#Python:

Where every project is just 1.000.000 #dependencies non resolving #conflicts and "oh we dunno #WorkedOnMyMachine pl0x "

And people ask me why I like #PHP and #JS more ...

yes.

(I can hear it. the python people coming to town and giving me advice on what I'm doing wrong, why pytorch is awesome and.

And if python wins, @pollita will hand the uniform to @eric and you’ll all have wished #php would have won… even if you code in JS

Do folks think the documentation in this #php sample correctly written?

3v4l.org/ussLP#v8.3.27

I ask because this is a simplification of a very heavily used pattern in one part of our code base, and phpStorm is very stubbornly refusing to accept that $me is an instance of C without us adding additional docblocks. It thinks $a is an array of P. Trying to figure out if this is a bug in phpStorm, or in our docs.

This is insane. Almost 1000 votes cast!

I knew this would be close but it is 50:50 !

If any of you #php folk could boost, PHP could win this.
