A bit of a useless tangent, I have been trying to upgrade my #friendica instance, but see I have made some customizations to my instance that break horribly upon upgrading, I first learned how to program on an Apple IIc, there was a game my dad bought for me, I beat it fairly quickly, and software was not cheap and I was told no more games for a while, so I taught myself how to use the games core to make new levels to keep playing, I learned in time how hack DOS and Windows early on, and found a way to get WIndows to boot without DOS, I accidentally stripped DOS from the system one day, not an issue for me but no one else could use that computer, so I had to get some help and get a DOS install and reinstall it, I learned how to proficiently use #html and #css, I have had the ability to use #php only in the capacity to get myself in and out of trouble, but never really could understand it, over the years code looks more and more like extraterrestrial hieroglyphics to me, now you have to understand, I have always seen the world very differently than most anyone, I can step out side where you see trees the sky and grass I can see symbols numbers intersecting dimensions the very fabric of existence with clarity, I can not describe nor explain exactly how I see it so you could understand it, I just see it, I used to be able to just look at random people and know if they where sick before they even realized it, I am sharing this because I have always seen patterns and code in everything, computer language has become so convoluted that I simply can no longer comprehend what I am looking at, worse I cant not look at a screen very long at all before everything becomes a swirling mess of 1's and 0's I used have the ability to make any thing and I mean anything work, even when everyone else failed, often with little to no effort on my part, I had or have strange gifts and abilities, getting older I am losing the executive cognitive function, to use my strange vision and abilities to accomplish anything at all, and it is becoming rather frustrating, something as simple as upgrading a piece of web software and applying my customizations is now becoming a momentous task that is exhausting, there is no reason why software has become so convoluted, the fact I have to merge html, css, php, js, all to post a random tangent is absurd to me, the whole process is a practice in futility, and if I could get my brain to work again, I think I would revive simply computer language for the modern time, simplifying the expanding labor intensive and resource hungry lines of code that are being drooled out today, thank you for attending my tangent;
