Look, I’m fired up about this: everyone should own their own social media. So I’m not just talking about it—I’m doing it.
@Crissy and I are laying the groundwork for a #PeerTube co-op where everyone who joins becomes a member-owner. That means a say in governance, even if you’ve never touched server admin in your life. No gatekeepers, no random fiefdom-builders—just collective ownership.
And I’m also digging into how to make starting your own Fediverse server dead simple. Because this shouldn’t be a privilege for the technically savvy. It should be accessible to everyone.

Je viens enfin de faire fonctionner la transcription sur mon instance #peertube avec le raspberry pi4 ( 8G de RAM tout de même ).
Cela ne fonctionnait pas en 32bits et comme je ne voulais pas tout arrêter je nlme suis battu pour monter un chroot en 64bits. Avec un noyau 64bits évidemment.
Je suis positivement surpris du résultat, whisper fonctionne, ce n'est pas au niveau d'une transcripton humaine, mais ça peut servir de base.

I finally managed to get transcription working with #peertube on my #raspberry pi4.
This has been a painful path mainly due to the fact that i didn't want to stop it and had to switch from a non maintained 32bit distribution to a 64bits one.
I then created a 64bit chroot on the new system and a bunch of script to adapt my customized peertube to it.
Next step is to do the same for other services running on same hardware, and #nextcloud first.

Wallberg Beyond the Crowds
Last weekend’s hike to the Wallberg near Tegernsee offered a calm alternative to the usual crowds thanks to overcast skies and cool temperatures. We enjoyed varied views, a peaceful ascent, and a choice descent on a narrow trail with photo-worthy moments, while testing a new action cam along the way.
