I just started as a computer science instructor at a community college, teaching fully remote. I've been using YouTube to host lectures, but due to a variety of reasons (mostly privacy-related) would like to use something else. Does anyone know of a good #PeerTube instance for hosting educational videos/lectures, or if not PeerTube perhaps something similar? I don't have the resources at the moment to host my own.

Neben den Fix für eine Securitylücke bringt das Update noch ein nicht-sicherheitsrelevanten Bugfix.

Sry dass das Update etwas gebraucht hat. Yunohost hat das Update erst seit gestern zur Verfügung gestellt.
Fürs Wochenende plane ich das Upgrade auf eine neue Yunohost Version und die Aktualisierung von Kernel sowie OpenSSL.
In den genannten Bereichen gibt es nämlich auch wieder Updates.

People from Mastodon etc can follow and interact with your videos without ever joining PeerTube, because PeerTube is part of the Fediverse.
If you have a Mastodon etc account, you can encourage your followers to also follow your PeerTube account by mentioning it, so they can follow it in one click. (For example @fedivideo).

¿No veis un poco incoherente hablar de #Linux y el software de codigo abierto solo en #Youtube, una plataforma cerrada, dejando de lado las plataformas de codigo abierto y descentralizadas como #peertube ?
Por ejemplo canales como @thelinuxexperiment usa ambas plataformas para subir sus videos, dando coherencia a su mensaje y es uno de los canales con mas seguidores en Youtube.
Non mais y a vraiment des gens qui se foutent de ma gueule.
PeerTube : pas de films piratés. C'est écrit en gros avant l'inscription, c'est redit dans le mail d'acceptation au gars qui veut télécharger ses « créations et opinions ».
Et la première chose qu'il charge : Îron Man (2008).

Je ne suis pas là pour payer les frais de stockage de ses vidéos piratées, ni me mettre à risque juridiquement.
Ce genre de comportement, c'est la plaie principale de #PeerTube
Respectez les créateurs de contenu, ainsi que ceux qui vous offrent une plate-forme gratuite et éthique pour vous exprimer.
