I just uploaded clips of #NestaNala (1940-2005) and her daughter #JabulileNala showing how they begin coil building a pot. The Nalas are the most renowned Zulu pottery family. Jabulile taught me her coil building technique and gave me more insight into Zulu culture when we spent three weeks together in the summer of 2022.

An update on the event for those who may have been following.
I wanted to thank everyone for checking out the page and the event. With only 1 confirmed creative signed up, I don't believe the event will take place as initially planned. If people wanted to sign up, but were on the fence, please DM and let me know. If there aren't more people signed up to have more-or-less a full day's worth (8-10 people), we'll have to think about what to do. Regardless, more events are planned for the future so I'd like to help build up the community, and fight back against all the hurt out there.

wtf, YouTube sorgt mit ihren Änderungen jetzt für großen Einbruch der Zuschauerzahlen.
leider ist PeerTube und andere Alternativen noch keine gute Alternative für YouTube, zumindest nicht für den Mainstream.
Grund ist diesmal vermutlich ein Botschutz, der einfach viele unangemeldete Nutzer nicht mehr zählt. das wirkt sich auf Sponsoren aus.
wir müssen echt #unplugtrump , aber manches wie YT ist echt nicht einfach zu wechseln

And yes, I know the excuse, maybe your favorite dealer has not set up shop on PeerTube. But that does not change the truth of the comparison.
