big media (and now big tech) still controls most of the attention and we don't have a good way to pay creators that doesn't go through middlemen. we have big names like Kimmel etc now understanding the threat, but we don't have them understanding the alternatives, much less using or promoting them. we'll just do it on YouTube isn't real resistance. we need them to help build (funnel money and attention to) decentralized FOSS services like #peertube.
I've watched the entire backlog of #peertube videos that @GamingWolf so kindly recorded. At this point I'm all caught up and will no doubt start to suffer withdrawal.
Regardless, many thanks to GamingWolf for sharing these, it's been great fun and I look forward to each new recording!

Oftopic nur als Hinweis, weil mir Eure Ausstiegseentscheidung zunächst etwas uniformiert erschien:
So eine Timeline im Fediverse bleibt leer, wie wohl Eure, wenn man nur wenigen anderen folgt. Hier funktioniert einfach einiges ein wenig anders als bei den kommerziellen. Dafür gibt es aber auch ein paar richtig tolle "USPs" gegenüber den Peoplefarmer-Plattformen. Stichworte sind hier z.B
Jedenfalls würde ich mich freuen, wenn Euer neuer 2. Anlauf hier vielleicht erfolgreicher wird als Ihr Euren 1. offenbar bisher selber einschätzt. Acgtung das kann auch eine Fehlinterpretation sein, es ist halt schwer messbar. Informiert Euch vielleicht nochmal ausgiebig, es gibt ja durchaus einige sehr erfolgreiche Großaccounts auch von Behörden hier im Fediverse. Und fragt ruhig mal nach wenn was unklar ist. Das darf man auch, wenn man beruflich Socialmedia betreibt. Die Leute sind hier idR. Ja sehr hilfsbereit.

I don't like posting very short videos to PeerTube but I think a weekly recap would make some sense.
