After another painfilled sleepless night the old man drags his lifeless breathless body out of a sunken bed of jagged shards of steel and glass, staggering to prepare his coffee as the classical music plays, his hands shaking as he pours in the water and counts the scoops of grind, fumbing he manages to plug in the percolator and as the coffee begins to perc, he shuffles off to the toilet, his bowels howl out in hunger, in the mirror stands looking back an exhausted old man with dishelved hair and beard to weak and tired to care, he shuffles back to his bed where he struggles to pull on his socks and pants, his legs cold and trembling he stands and pours a cup of coffee, carefully he packs his pipe with scraps of tobacco, he pulls on his coat and opens the door, stumbling out into the chil the air is frozen the sun begins it's morning rise, but as the world starts to spin not a soul could care about the plight and fight for life this old man is trapped within;

Ich habe direkt von meinem Bankkonto ( #IBAN ) auf das Konto des Händlers überwiesen. Früher dauerte das ein paar Werktage, doch mittlerweile geht es in Europa innerhalb von Sekunden. Damit brauchen wir theoretisch keine Dienste wie Paypal mehr. ☺️
Wenn wir in #Europa endlich unabhängig von #USA und #China werden wollen, müssen wir an sehr vielem arbeiten. Und das muss gestartet werden. Jetzt!
Ich lese immer sehr viel von digitaler Unabhängigkeit. Bei Messengern weg von #WhatsApp. Beim Betriebssystem hin zu #Linux. #Libreoffice statt #MsOffice. Hin zu #Nextcloud und damit weg von #GoogleDrive, #iCloud, #Dropbox, #OneDrive & Co.
Bei Finanz lese ich aber immer nur #Wero statt #Paypal. Und da klemmt es schon. Wero ist unnötig kompliziert gemacht. Damit die Einstiegsschwelle hoch. Warum zum Teufel muss meine Bank es anbieten. Bei PayPal ist die Bank auch scheißegal.
Und worüber niemand spricht: Schaffen einer europäischen Alternative zu #Visa, #Mastercard, #AmericanExpress. Da müssen wir auch ran.

Heart skipped a beat when one of the possible US services mentioned in the news was #Paypal .
As a possible service that could be subject to additional fees to counter #Trump #tariffs.
All because we sent 15 #NATO soldiers to a NATO base in a NATO country to evaluate how to improve the security that trump considers too lax (after closing all but 1 US base there).
Leider bin ich noch auf #paypal, weil viele Menschen entschieden haben, das das toll ist.
Habe nun begonnen, dass ich bei jeder Transaktion als Nachricht mit dazu schreiben:
