Absorbed by the dismal abyss, a void of despair where nothing but pain and suffering exist, for there is no warmth, no sound, no light, no feeling, nothing, absolute silence that is deafening darkness that is blinding, not even can your breath leave your chest, there is nothing below your feet, there is nothing to grab onto, simply floating in an endless drift of absolute nothing, your mind becomes overloaded with sensory hallucinations, your heart beats as if it is a symphony of out of sync drums, the crushing weight of eternal implosion, drifting deeper and deeper, your exhausted yet can not sleep, your searching yet can find nothing, deeper and deeper into the void of endless nothing;

After a hunger filled sleepless night of pain, the old man drags his lifeless breathless corpse out of his sunken bed of jagged ice, as the classical music plays he shuffles his stiff body off to prepare his coffee, with trembling hands he pours in the water and counts the scoops of grind, fumbling unable to yet see he manages to plug in the percolator, as the coffee begins to perc he stumbles off to the toilet, his bowels bellow out in a hungerous pain, in the mirror stands a tired old man his hair and beard disheveled with nearly no strength he tries to lift his brush and with a sigh says who really cares anyways, shuffling back to his bed, he struggles to pull on his socks, pants and boots, he pours a cup of coffee and carefully packs his pipe, he pulls on his coat as he shuffles outside, the morning dark cold and wet as winter's grip takes hold, the faint rumble of life beginning to come to life in this dark world, while not one even takes the time to care about the suffering the struggling the plight of enduring hell this old man must face yet another day;
