Holding on by a thread over the cliff as the ground keeps slipping away, for if the sun shines no one can see the exhaustion in my eyes, by the stars and the moon no one can hear my cries in the silence of night, as the world crumbles away each day not one has ever notice it passed for me eons ago, flowing through the motions grasping at hope, for no strength to let go no strength to hold on, simply dangling here for all eternity, a body in pain broken from life a mind overrun with more than one should ever endure, sleepless nights blend into exhausting days, hunger fills a stomach void of nutrition, attitudes and emotions that flow like the rapids in a raging river, trying to paint a life without a single brush, capturing moments to find a reason to be, putting to words what the music never hears, across the divide a void of darkness with more light and warmth that world I am forced to exist within, for the departure of me would have no meaning, just as my being is void of reason, yet to defy the negativity the torment the struggling the suffering, will be to slap this existence in it’s face, to say you gave me your worst yet here I stay, defiant in the face of pain, for upon my soul you will not relish in my despair, but you shall find the hell you hold dear, to be not my prison but to become your eternity;
