Ich vermute, das hängt an SMS - wenn man nämlich SMS für 2FA derzeit hat, dann wird durch Zurücksetzen der 2FA diese Option nicht mehr angeboten.
Warum, keine Ahnung (Kosten? unsicher, ob SMS als Dienst verschwindet?).
Nur, eMail als 2FA kommt bei mir Stunden (wirklich) später an, da ist der Code schon ungültig.
Ich werde wohl #Paypal dann nicht mehr nutzen.

Könnt ich schon wieder kotzen.
Grad mit #Paypal was bezahlt.
Loggt sich das Handy bei Kasse in den Account und Zahlung wird ohne zusätzliche Eingabe Passwort freigegeben.
Ich kriege keine Mail zur Zahlung. Keine SMS.
Woanders eingeloggt seh ich: Zahlung in der Tat erfolgt.
Ich habe 2FA mit SMS eingestellt.
In keinem der Browser erlaube ich PW Speicherung ( Vivaldi, DDGo)
