#Wero, die europäische Antwort auf #PayPal kann bald auch bei Online-Händler:innen genutzt werden: Decathlon, Lidl, Rossmann, Cewe, Cineplex, Zooplus, Hornbach, Dott, Air Europa, Veepee sowie Baur und Käfer.
Insgesamt gibt es derzeit wohl schon ca. 46 Millionen Wero-Nutzende in der EU, darunter ca. 1,3 Mio in Deutschland.

I mean, look at the state of #OnlinePayments:
#TradFinance fearmongered regulators and institutions into #Monero #delistings and bans.
#wero doesn't even get mandatory acceptance within the #SEPA-Area and doesn't support non-SEPA accounts, thus is less useful than #UnionPay, #AliPay & #WeChatPay in #Germany.
The 3 before-mentioned providers won't even offer their services for #EU citizens/non-"P.R." #China residents.
#WesternUnion, #RIA, #MoneyGram, etc. are absurdly expensive and don't work well nor can be integrated as #OnlinePayment.
#PerfectMoney, like #Mir, is basically useless outside #Russia & #CIS member states.
Same goes for all the other national providers like #SOFORTÜBERWEISUNG (absorbed by #Klarna), etc.
PayPal owns the market for #payments harder than Autodesk for Engineering Software and Adobe for Creative Software because #regulators like @EUCommission refuse to regulate!

Personally I can vouch for @monocles / #monoclesOcean which is a #Nextcloud without much fuss that can be paid for #CashByMail & #Monero as well as #SEPA, #Stripe & #PayPal and @Stuxhost which comes with @CollaboraOffice included.
Both use @nextcloud at their core and I do like how #Nextcloud really makes it simple to do #ManagedServices & #SelfHosting without feature disparity!

Ich habe die Anzahl von Privatgirokonten recherchiert (teils mit KI-Unterstützung). #Sparkasse 36 Mio, #Volksbank 30 Mio, #Postbank 14 Mio, Ing-Diba 10 Mio. Bei diesen Banken (und weiteren) ist es mit wenigen Klicks möglich, #Wero einzurichten. Es ist sogar einfacher, als einen Account bei #PayPal einzurichten. Ich glaube, dass die Verbreitung von #Wero so gesehen mind. an die von PayPal herankommt. Es liegt nun an uns allen, dass dies auch erkannt wird.
An alle #NGO s hier im #Fedivers, die ihr euch jeden Tag um den Erhalt unserer #Freiheit, der #Demokratie, gg #Populismus und #Fakenews, für #Transparenz und #UmweltSchutz einsetzt:

2. Ich spende auch in Zukunft gerne den einen oder anderen entbehrlichen Kreuzer.
3. Eine einfache und schnelle Spendenabwicklung ist eine feine Sache.
4. Aber: ab 2026 werde ich die Nutzung von #Paypal kpl einstellen. #Wero könnte ein gute Alternative sein.
