In the season of perpetual hope and abundance, there is nothing but despair scarcity and loneliness, for all the compassion has shriveled up and become a cliche, humanity is no more humane than than the predators in the sea, across the cosmos the stars are as barren as the hearts upon this wretched rock, for the plight of life seems more like a fight than the basic right, to pass one day unto the next wondering where your next meal will come from to struggle to keep your pants from falling apart as they simply are worn out, to experience pain that radiates with vigorous intent, to watch your decline as if it was an avalanche beginning to roll, as your pleas for help become the scourge of society, so Christmas is near but it is nothing but commercial cheer. for along the year of need no Santa will even visit me, compassion and love have forgotten about those without, to see the season and so many have no clue of the reason, for the spirit of Scrooge has embedded it's self deep within you all;
