Most news organizations don't understand that China's open-source AI is designed in a way that makes organizations dependent on the creator's consultants. In a way, using the software is free. Yet, for most, it leads into dependencies.

#teaching myself a little about building add-ons for #blender & finding there's some room to bring some of what I love about the philosophy and workflow of #davinciresolve into VSE. Working slowly and by no means an expert in #python but testing things out with moderate success so far. It won't replace my Resolve use for #professional #projects but should work well for pure creativity when I'm messing around. Hopefully coming to a #repo near you in the future. #foss #linux #opensource #github
