Most news organizations don't understand that China's open-source AI is designed in a way that makes organizations dependent on the creator's consultants. In a way, using the software is free. Yet, for most, it leads into dependencies.

myself a little about building add-ons for & finding there's some room to bring some of what I love about the philosophy and workflow of into VSE. Working slowly and by no means an expert in but testing things out with moderate success so far. It won't replace my Resolve use for but should work well for pure creativity when I'm messing around. Hopefully coming to a near you in the future.

Anyone have suggestions for open source projects using Python that could use some junior-level assistance? I enjoy my hobby projects, but I'd like to get involved with doing something that has meaning to real users. Are smaller projects a better starting point, or would you recommend a larger one that has an existing community?
