This month OpenStreetMap turns 21!

To mark the occasion, we dug into our archives to finish part 3 of Stamen's personal history of OSM, covering the years 2016 to the present. Check it out on our blog, including links to part 1 and 2 of the series:

#Catima 2.36.0 is out!

In this release we added a card list widget, one of the most requested features since the project was started!

We hope to extend the widget in the future to allow you to choose which cards you want to show and how you want them sorted.

I'm gonna say it, I fucking hate AGPL. Like I love open source, but just because I have an AGPL dependency on my code now I need to implement a whole song and dance to make it generate a link to the repository on the correct git hash to satisfy the network code availability clause.

I fucking bet most don't even follow the AGPL rules on their own projects, take Lemmy, it IS AGPL but nowhere on instances can you find a way to get the exact code said instances are running. Nobody follows their own god damn licenses.

God AGPL is stupid

The #CyberResilienceAct (#CRA) is moving ahead at full speed and its impact will be massive. I think most people in #opensource still don't realize that A) it's a *law* B) it applies *globally*

A few weeks ago there was the first "case" of it impacting badly OSS maintainers 🧵
